I got my V3 in .22 a couple weeks back. Was shooting REALLY slow (750 fps w/18 gr JSB) so I pulled the stock and found the hammer spring locking screw wasn’t tightened down so it allowed the hammer spring tension to back off in transit to the point the adjuster was sticking out of the action by two and a half turns. Went ahead and screwed it in two turns from flush and was shooting the NOE BBT slugs just under 1000 fps. Groups with unsized slugs are about .60” at 50 yards. If I sort the slugs for imperfections the groups tighten up to .50” or better a 50 yards. It’s an amazing platform (albeit heavy). Was on the fence whether to get the Vulcan 3 or a Uragan II. Uragan has a balanced valve and because you can’t adjust the regulator externally (which is very helpful when tuning a balance valve) I chose the V3. Really pleased with it. Plan on some Pdog hunting later this year.
