looking at a vulcan 3, 500mm, in 25 cal ( coon patrol) and wondering what fps ( don't want to max it out, but on the " heavy side" and accurate) i could expect ? Interested in shooting the hades pellets and of course trying the fx hybrids. Also, how many shots per fill roughly can I expect ? Thanks.

My Vulcan 3 rifles are in. 30 (700) and. 177 (500).
I am of the idea that the. 25 in 500 should be very similar to the actual Uragan: perfectly made, super solid and super accurate.
The Real difference should be in the 700: More power and a barrel more compatible with slugs.
From the 500 and the 700 you should expect extreme accuracy, above 90 shots per fill and a ping in your ear at shot (only dissadvantage I have found).
I am of the idea that Vulcan 3 is the best purchased on market for price, BUT:
There's a new Technology already available that promise to change the name of the game in two very important aspects: (I) adjustability of power and (ii) accuracy at very long range ( 270 yards), this new way of look at air rifles capability is the RATTLER.
Think a lot which of those two rifles you should buy. Take your time.
The Vulcan 3 is very good looking rifle and excelent shooter closer than150 yards, but above 150 yards, the Rattler, uglier than a car looked from below, will be far away better shooter.
Your choice.

Keep it configured with the bigger plenum. Tune both of those pellets to around 900 fps and I would think that you would get around 100 shots or more per fill. I’m looking at that Vulcan 3 700 in .25 myself. Probably add a 700cc bottle to it as well.
