I pushed mine to the max, but getting 120 ft.lb from a .25 V3 just isn't doable? Both, the .25 is putting over 120fpe and the 30 is putting over 140fpe
He's talking about the Vulcan 3 HP which has a special regulator set to 200b rather than the normal vulcan 3 which I believe is set between 140 and 150bI pushed mine to the max, but getting 120 ft.lb from a .25 V3 just isn't doable?
I didn’t even know that existed. Thanks for clearing that up!He's talking about the Vulcan 3 HP which has a special regulator set to 200b rather than the normal vulcan 3 which I believe is set between 140 and 150b
You're welcome! They've been out for about 2 months I believe, talon tunes is carrying themI didn’t even know that existed. Thanks for clearing that up!
You're other option would be an Air Force texan, more than enough to take down a coyote but you'll have to do a lot of research and testing to see what projectiles work in .457 for ya. Or maybe even in .257I stick mainly to 25cal bc if the high power and the same time accuracy 7.62 is bit more powerfull but nit that accury or maybe if someone have another opinion with another gun i can listen just for my budget and other thinks like. Easy operation simple made on gun and etc i like it i speak about Vulcan series
I dont like it its to big and long i like something like bullpop vulkan or max fx but my budget now stops me from fx and also much more o rings and etc for every projectileYou're other option would be an Air Force texan, more than enough to take down a coyote but you'll have to do a lot of research and testing to see what projectiles work in .457 for ya. You need to take a look at the carbines, I used to feel the same way about Air Force the carbines are much shorter and still pack a huge punch.I dont like it its to big and long i like something like bullpop vulkan or max fx but my budget now stops me from fx and also much more o rings and etc for every projectile
I try aea challenger 7.62 its good but not accurate compared to vulcan ita 20 30 j more also have much parts that are not good made they are lose they drop and etc.. But looks very good i look before 2 3 days about aea maruder 7.62 semi auto not bad groupsYou need to take a look at the carbines, I used to feel the same way about Air Force the carbines are much shorter and still pack a huge punch.
Within your budget the other gun I would look into in the AEA Challenger Elite, regulated with plenty of power and shots from .35 cal and higher.
AEA CHALLENGER ELITE REGULATED BIGBORE BULLPUP .35, .45, .50 & .51 CAL

If I see a coyote when out on my property, it doesn't matter what I'm carrying, I will put any projectile in one without thought. Don't care where I hit it. They are not native here and have decimated the turkeys and severely hurt fawn survival dropping the deer population by a massive amount since I bought my home. I have put more than a few hits on them with 22lr, both handgun and rifle, .25 pcp more than once, never got lead right on over 100 yard shot with my compact 22 uragan at only 22ishft-lb at muzzle, but i tried on the couple occasions that presented. I don't care how one dies, quickly, or slowly and being eaten by their pack, doesn't matter to me.I personally believe 25 calibers are a little small for coyotes. They can be over 50 lbs and don't drop easily. PB hunters would generally not think about using a 22lr which is in the same fpe range as at least the 25 caliber Vulcan 3. Brain shots should be easily doable it's body shots I worry about. I think the coyote will die, it's a question of how far they will run first. If it was me, I would get the 30 caliber or limit myself to brain shots. But if it's wide open spaces where it's OK for the coyote to run off and die, the 25 would probably work. I just don't think a 25 makes a big enough hole (or if you use an expanding projectile a deep enough hole) to reliably get DRT results on a coyote with body shots.
A man after my own heart. I do believe most on here have not dealt with coyotes, let alone, killed any, but yet they’re quick to make suggestions on what it takes to kill one. They are not a super predator, they die just like anything else. A .25 is plenty big enough out of the Vulcan HP for a coyote. Look at it this way, if you have dealt with them on a personal level, you would know that it doesn’t matter whether it’s a mouse, a fawn, or your chihuahua, they don’t kill anything befor they go to eating it, so why do I owe them anything better? If I see a coyote when out on my property, it doesn't matter what I'm carrying, I will put any projectile in one without thought.
