VULCAN 3 ON THE WAY TO LONG ISLAND!!!

Well i finally made my decision on which shooter in .30 I would buy...well after some serious research & thoughts including Bang for the Buck .... i found a nice Vulcan 3 .30 power tuned from Tony TT...the rig is abou 6weeks old comes with a Monstrum scope which i have no experience with at all....heard they have nice glass but not the best at long distance sighting....I had the Vulcan 2 a few yrs back so if the 3 is just a tad of improvement im looking at a keeper for sure & with a TT power tune i think playing Santa for my own gift i should have a very Happy & Merry belated Christmas only because its not being delivered til Wednesday.... .....Hopefully some of you informative airgunners have some positive or negative feedback on the AGT VULCAN 3...

Picked a .30 (700mm) V3 up last holiday season, not one second of buyer's remorse. Unchoked 700mm barrel doesn't like pellets but shoots Air Velocity Sports .3063 (61 grain) slugs very accurately. Not sure I'm comfortable with amount of force needed to load the .3063s but, man, do they shoot. The loud clang you'll hear each shot is reminding you to get a depinger, here's a diagram to show installation. Happy Holidays, WM

Tony will take good care of you. Probably going to want to stock up on some AVS slugs in 3.063 Enjoy the new gun. I hear they are slug shooting machines.

I'll bite ! 500 mm .25 cal. Loves 34 gr as well as 25.4 gr FX pellets. Love the gun...........going to find it a sibling..........700 mm V3 in .22.

I’m thinking about getting one of these myself, I really don’t have a need for the 700 so I’m thinking 500. I know the barrel is choked except the .30 which I’m not interested in either. I’m thinking.22 and shoot the new Hades when they come out. I’d use it mainly for squirrels and shots are rarely past 50. The only drawback I can see is the weight, I’ve never held an AGT gun but I know they are rock solid.

Got Baby Volcano 3 ( .177 ) , but it is working just fine, not a super long ranger though also not horrible.
I cant stop shooting slugs in it, though i got it for pellets, i am thinking maybe set it up for new light weight slugs ( 10 grain ) and then maybe be able to shoot 13.43 grain pellets with the exactly same tune, CUZ lets face it, the Vulcan 3 are no tweakers gun.

I don't get mine til Wednesday but I believe the gentleman I bought it from sent some slugs I don't remember which ones but someone in this thread mentioned the exact slugs to purchase for the V3

You'll need some .3063 slugs from AVS if you want to shoot slugs. 60 to 70 grain works well depending on the tune but you need thin magazine top plates and spacers to use 70gn.
