Vulcan moderator LDC adapter

Zebra you are asking for trouble doing things like that by hand, if the threads are not cut perfectly square he could end up damaging the baffles inside his Hugget which is not a cheap piece. I would never recommend anyone tries to make threads for something that needs to be perfectly aligned, by hand. It can be done but only by someone who has a lot of experience with tools and with cutting threads. I would be very careful recommending anyone does this type of work without knowing just how experienced that person is, Neil.

"Boombots74"Zebra,

I appreciate the info but yeah, I am not confident enough nor brave enough to do that. I would rather leave it to the pros.

Thanks any ways.
I could never find any pros that were willing to make custom thread adapters or I would have got some made. Let me know if you find anyone that can make some in a reasonable time frame. I didn't find it that hard to make the few I needed but I can't say it's a fun project. It's the kind of thing I would prefer to buy if anyone was selling.

"NeilClague"Zebra I don't mind making the odd one here and there to help out members of the forum, but I do not want to get into making 3 or 4 for one person, or making dozens of them. They are too time consuming to make and would severely put me behind with my orders, but if you need just the one then I can help you out, Neil.
Thanks. I'll drop you a pm next time I need one.

The sell an M14 to 1/2" UNF adapter for the Cricket so if the Vulcan is the same then it should work. If it doesn't fit, they also sell a thread extender (to allow you to clear the air tube on the 22 cricket) which may be needed for the Vulcan too. They are expensive ($30) but I can't imagine a custom job would cost much less.

I managed to find a 10m to m14 x 1.25 adapter from Lang tools for around $8 so if you can find an off the shelf one that isn't from an air gun store, it will be cheaper (probably). I post an update on how good it is when it arrives. Hopefull it will look nicer than my diy job.

I recently found a bunch of new sources for thread adapters. Turns out, you can't just search for what you need. You have to find it by accident while looking for something else....
