Tuning Vulcan reg & or power plenum question.

I see that AOA has a Huma. Does it make a big difference? AOA is smaller

Talon Tunes below says Uragan but in details says Vulcan. I emailed & asked, no reply yet plus I want to hear from those not selling them.

I'm not looking at turning it into a beast. Just wanted to know. TT's looks longer. O-ring spacing different. Does one stop creep better than another, take up less space? Make significantly more power?

Big question is who makes plenums should I want to send .25 36-48 grain NSA slugs? The 31.5 .22's did absolutely stellar at 200-289 yesterday from the Condor at up to 1080.

I'm not using Griffins as they're for my .22's & .257.
This Vulcan is currently sending 33.95's at 840, AOA purchase. So whatever reg is in from factory is in there. I haven't opened it up nor am I sure I need to.

If I'm going to add a power plenum maybe that's all I need. Might just buy one of each reg in case one needs to get new Belleville washers.

If you want t o increase the Vulcan2 Power you'll need an external plenum, the Cricket one fits with minor modifications (from 910 Airguns). You'll also need to port the gun (valve house, breech, barrel) to open up airflow. Find a stronger hammer spring. Other "flow" power upgrades. Even then with the "short" barrel you'll probably not get much over 60 FPE with a .25. (900 FPS). I don't imagine even if the slugs are accurate you'll get heavier slugs going fast, but there will be enough power to shoot the lighter (29ish grain) slugs at a good speed...

Greatly appreciated CC. May I ask the difference between the OEM reg & Huma? If it's a better tighter spread it's worth it.

I don't see a point in going through all that for less than I would want a .22 slug shooter doing for distances. 840 with 33.95 is more than enough as I'm use to 20.14 FTT's going 695-705 from my 52 .25 & iron sights out to 75 yards. Lol right. Big change coming. Not my first by far.

This was supposed to be a compact buy. That's what I told myself but you know.
