Walther released a field target specific version of their LG400. I know some guys were converting the LG300 and 400 for field target prior to this release. I am just wondering if anyone has used this platform and what insight they could provide. Thank you.

A friend of mine has one and he loves it. It’s a very nice rifle. I know that’s not much detail. I shot it once and it seemed to shoot light out.

Research if it has a 2 part action, if it does then look elsewhere. Otherwise you'll have POI shifts or pay big$ to fix the issue. By that time you could have bought a Thomas which is the standard.

OR buy a rigid scope bridge from Rowan Engineering or AZ or Pete Mattos if he still makes them.

The receiver is one piece. I have seen one person shoot one at the 2019 Pyramyd Air Cup. Rob Seiden.
