Walther LP 53. Genius!

So happy with this purchase.
Both are in top condition, without a single scratch or finger marks. The one with brown scales is from 1958, and the black is a 1969 version. Placing the spring inside the grip, has given these pistols a unique design, and (in my opinion) a very good balance.

Thoroughly jealous! That early model is particularly gorgeous. I really like the smooth finish bluing rather the krinkle finish on the later models. The fitted case is an additional bonus. If you ever want to sell it … but I’d recommend against it. From personal experience I think you’d regret it. 😏;)

Best springer pistol ever IMO…
Ive a had a tad more out of FWB 65 but its a big old lump in comparison..
In 2 handed grip I have even out shot a 65 once or twice..
They need tuning to do it however…
Yes I have seen your threads about this particular pistol Steveoo, and know there are potential for more power and smoother action so to say. But as long as they preform as intended with the original parts, or close to that, I will be more than happy. The nostalgia factor you know……..😂
