N/A Walther LP400 red dot mount

Hi , I am new to this forum , and somewhat new to air gun. I am lucky enough to have just purchased a Walther LP 400. The club I shoot at allows red dot for competition. I am looking for ideas on mounting a red dot on the Walther. Seems to me the best idea is to use a barrel mount picatinny. Please let me know some ideas.
Thank you ,
Jeff R

Ron, Thank you so much for posting a reply. I have attached a couple photos. The one pic with the sight mounted is how I bought the gun. The previous owner kind of rigged it on the gun which I did not like. The other pic is how it is now all taken apart to clean it up and such. I really would have liked the sight on the rear of the gun , but with the cocking lever going back that probably will not work. There is a 10mm rail there. So maybe a better barrel mount just in front of the lever would work. But with the air canister on there is very little room between the barrel and the canister. The one on the picture you sent might work , but as I say there is only about 1/8” between. Let me know your thoughts.
Thank you ,
Jeff R,

So I did get the site figured out. I attached a picture. Now I have a new CD problem. I bought the gun used and I was shooting it the other day and it stopped. It had plenty of air. I believe the original owner out grease in the wrong spot. Trying to disassemble but having problems. Looks like the striker is dragging due to the grease. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you 😊
