Hi all,
Happy Holidays!
I know this same issue has come up in a prior thread, but I don’t think I saw it resolved..
I tried to set up a brand new Walther Reign yesterday. Right out of the box noticed that the fill port plug above the pressure gage was missing. At first I thought I lost it, but my wife, who gave me the rifle for Christmas, swore there was no plug when she got the rifle and checked it over. I don’t know if this has anything to do with the problem, which is that I cannot get the rifle to fill at all. The gages on the compressor and the rifle don’t move. The problem seems to be with the rifle, not with the compressor, the air lines, the fill probe or the Air Venturi QD adapter. I’ve tested everything, and when I use the test plug that came with my compressor, the pressure valve rises every time. Even with my fingers over the holes in the fill probe, the pressure on the compressor gage increased. It is only when I insert the probe into the rifle’s fill port that there is no increase in air pressure. As per the instructions, I made sure to cock the lever for the first fill, but I cannot get any air pressure into the rifle. I dry fired a few times, but still nothing. I’m very frustrated. Any suggestions for what I can do differently and for why this is happening? Thank you!
