Walther Rotek .177 (information and analysis area)

Yep, Its been crazy wind lately. I do have a PCP that is doing nickel size at 72 yards. I haven't had an opportunity to stretch out further yet, but it is pellets, so they won't stabilize forever. I measured 1 inch drift with an unknown crosswind 44.75 gr .30 cal JSB's
Wind is my biggest foe here🥴
I could get the Benjamin 10.5grs out to 100yrd pretty consistently. The slugs were better....but not by much🤔thats accuracy wise though...
Power/energy? ...
The pellets were making dents in my pizza pan. Some of the slugs went through it🤗

Early morning is about it. Like today get bad thunderstorms , or wind picks up about 9am. Or after 9am the humidity and temperature or like tofay it rains and the sun back heating it to 90+' makes it a sauna you just sweat and melt..lol.

Good thing so far no skeeters , no yella flies , and no knats chewing you up or getting in your nose, ears and eyes..lol

Anyway may go clean up these fresh tins of pellets . Fancy mail order ones for a change.. lol

Oo! I've been looking and cannot find and answer. Should the oem magazine auto index?😕mine does not...but it keeps be from double feeding🤣

Did you get your mag working ? Some you need to make an almost complete rotation of the pellet tray and the 1st pellet loaded stops it from rotating . Others just load and turn. Have a pic of the mag ?

I hadn't tried rotating the mag much when loaded🤔 ill try n see if it works like you say....like the old pull back n let go cars. Gotta "wind" it up? 😅🤷‍♂️

That mag looks like one the gun indexes for you . Don't spin that one !

It might have a certain position when loading. The ones I have like that I load with the top pellet in line with the barrel.

🤔got a pic ?😅

The metal cogs on the middle of the mag looks like they should be in line with a gear or cog on the slinger. And your cocking handle should index the mag when cocking.

I load mine with a pellet in the 12 o'clock position with the cogs toward me . I don't think I'm helping much . From your other pics, it looks like it would work.

Did some more research; turns out: I guess you just pull the bolt back and then push it forward to engage the cycle🥴🤷‍♂️
I'd been pulling the bolt back and thinking hmmm it didn't turn, so I turn it a bit/about lined up with next pellet and she kind of guides herself in...
I'm at work right now....gunna try it when i get home🤣
