Want more suppression for your Leshiy2 without changing the look?

Curious if people using this adapter are sizing their moderator for the actual caliber or going up one size to reduce the possibility of clipping?

I recall back when DonnyFL offered specific calibers the general recommendation was to size it for the caliber when screwed direct to the barrel and to go up one size when screwed to the shroud.

Also, in another thread somebody mentioned he thought the STO's were the best moderators for rifles like the Leshiy2 that pushed a lot of air. Now I assume he was referring to attached direct to barrel. Attached to the shroud with this adapter is likely different. I feel like that thread was very recent and shouldn't be too hard to find.

I was planning on one up because of clipping concerns -- I even struggled with clipping on the long L2 shroud/250mm/long STO insert combo.

Curious about that STO thread, I'll search. Leaning towards Mod 40 right now...

I found it. Turns out he specifically said un-shrouded barrels. I forgot that detail. I assume you'd be using short shroud + adapter + additional moderator.

Yup, thats the plan -- just not sure which additional moderator to snag

Very impressed with the Striplin adapter. Higj quality stuff.

Every thing was nice and tight but I don’t remember having any problems.

What is the brand of the picatinny extension?
Hrm. When I tried it thr O ring definetly was sliding to the exterior  .

Rail extension is Yankee Hill Machine 6" --- barely fits, but doesn't touch at all, with the stock shroud. Pretty stout, too. Heavy though.

Thats the Yankee Hill Machine Co extension with a Spartan bipod qd mount.. I run the same setup!

Lol! What @peebrainz said!

When I first pulled the trigger on the Spartan I felt a little silly -- The reviews on Rokslide had convinced me -- now that I've had it a while I'm very impressed though. Nice side benefit is being able to run it easily on both my airguns and on powder burners without and tool use for swapping.

Great minds think alike! I too picked up a handful of adapters for other guns to share. It is a well-thought out little package and nicely suited for the L2, IMO. I've tried a few different configs on the rail, w/ and w/o angle grip, bipod on either end.. I think this is best. :)

Well, went ahead and ordered one of these, still trying to decide on moderator. Sorta leaning towards the Huma Mod 40 -- have yet to read any negative reviews of their stuff -- anyone have thoughts there?
I highly recc the Huma 40. I also have the Ronin and the Huma is much superior even when shortened down to three segments.

I mean you could also get the Behemoth from EGW. Got an email from him last week saying they are coming in near the end of the month. I expect it will be just as good or better than the Huma and it will be QD too

Yeah I ended up preordering thr Behemoth because it (with QD) was a hundred bucks less than Huma with QD and I like the QD design of the Behemoth much better. The mods themselves actually look very, very similar tbh.
