I believe Ted is doing his own thing for a while. Staying low key and focusing on his family. We all hope he'll pick things back up again someday.

Remember, this is a regular guy like the rest of us. He has a job and a family. There is not a lot of free time for a guy like that. So he spends most of his free time with his family. Give Ted a break, he will make videos when there is time once in a while, that's great in my mind.

Hasn't YouTube put a hold on the income on these guys they really screwed up the advertising revenue they get on referals.

Yeah, he said a while back that he's doing the "Family First" and laying low on YouTube for a while. Can't say as I blame him. Making a good video of decent quality like he does takes a lot of time that might be better spent with wife and child.
I always look forward to the videos, but grinding out a couple a month takes a creativity toll on a person. I just hope that taking a holiday from video making and from all of us on the forum, may make for fewer videos, but better quality. It was always the quality of his videos that kept me going to his channel. I'll happily take fewer if they retain the quality.
By the way, if anyone knows Ted that's reading this, I believe he's a biologist. If he wanted to make a couple videos about his work, that'd be interesting as well. Shooting is fun, but seeing what someone actually does for a living (if he thinks his job can be mundane, that's no excuse. He should try mine). The sciences always fascinated me, and seeing what they work on day to day would be fun.
