I love the gun, but I’m a little confused. Since this contest is open to the UK, and since this gun is (way) over 12 foot pounds, would you still have to have a firearm permit, or has all of that changed over the years?

What is the accuracy beyond 100 yds? Has it been tested at farther distances?

The rifle shoots true so it would just be a matter of sorting pellets and managing the wind. Quickly diminishing pellet speed should also be a consideration. Steve

I have not read through all 15 pages of the previous comments and Yes...I realize I'm nitpicking,but the exposed trigger return spring seems vulnerable and incongruent with a quality hunting airgun. However,the rifle was probably not designed to be toted through the eastern woodlands where Murphy's law requires that a twig rake it from the trigger assembly. Another fine review Steve! Thanks to Air Arms,Optisan,Sportsmatch,JSB and Airgun Source for providing these quality items !
