Great review. Excellent facts of which I can only say mine got there, but only over time. This gun changes the field as to what is competitive in many classes.
I have the Commander Magnum because the Bantam Magnum wasn't out...a couple months later.
My experience with basically the same gun (AR stock the only difference) is somewhat different. It has taken a 2-3000 pellet and curve for me to say, DAMN it is GOOD!!!
First of all, I never owned nor fired an AR style rifle. That made the bench problematic as I just could not figure out how to shoot consistently. Getting a good bipod and rear sand bag did the trick there.
My trigger was probably 3 pounds. I do not have a gauge. I simply adjusted it until if feels good. It definitely does now!
I had one of the original guns and some of them had bad fill port o-rings. Mine went back for that the 2nd day I had it.
Generally feeling out a powerful pellet gun (15+ FPE above the 30 FPE of my Streamline) was also a learning curve. That 700 mm barrel took some learning to reliably shoot it.
Finally my regulator only stabilized after a lot of pellets.
Interestingly, originally it only liked 2 pellets. Now it seems to shoot 5 well and out of them 2 exceptionally well and I haven't that big a collection of pellets.
