Watch & Discuss the Daystate Huntsman Huma Regulated PCP!!

Hey there folks,

I am new to subject of pcp rifles. I have been watching the video reviews and reading articles regarding them. I never imagined there was so much to choose from. Soon I will be purchasing my first pcp. I have decided that I would skip the really entry level ones all together. Eg....mrod, gauntlet etc. I'm considering four right now. 1. weiharauch HW 110 , 2. fx dreamline, 3. daystate huntsman regal xl huma, and 4. air arms s510. That said, can anyone here please shed some of your insight that might not be published to better help me make a decision? Thanks for helping a newcomer to Pcp.

regards, Michael

Hi es,,hmmmm, any insughts? What caliber? Have you thought about how your gonna fill it with air? And refill it some more? That can be a kinda big initial investment.Gonna need a cleaning kit. not just any ole walmart off the shelf kit either. Learn how it's done properly so's ya don't hurt it.Gonna need a scope too cause most of them there high dollar shooters ain't got no iron sights on them.Gonna need targets,ya got targets? Soft targets or hard targets? Hard targets, gonna need some paint. What else? hmmm,ya shooting from a table or a bench? Might invest in some sand bags or shooting rests if ya are. Pellets, gonna need a veriety of pellets.Last count I gots 17? different tins of pellets.See what shoots the most accurate. To start with, iff'n ya choose a 22 caliber, get some JSB EXACT JUMBO HEAVY DIABLO 18.13 grain and 15.89 gr and a couple tins of H&N Field Target Trophy, multible pellet diameters,,5.51 up to 5.55.After that you'll want to try a whole bunch others.and for slits and giggles try some cheapo pellets like Crossman or Daisy. Never know, the rifle just might like them the best and you'd be able to poke your friends and tellem how your ammo costs less than half what theirs does hehehe. And as a luxoreeeee you should get ya a chronogragh so;s you can measure and record your velocity's and other figures to help determin uhhh this and that and somethin else. Them there's some of my insughts. Consider wisely then sleep on it keemosabi. Welcome to the forum,,should have posted in the catagory (PCP).lots of quality info & tips here, excluding myself of course.

Thanks HeyU.

I am still pouring over what seems unlimited information. I have taken into consideration all the items that you have covered. It's definitely a substantial expense. I am thinking i need someone with prior experience with the rifles I listed as my options to help me make my decision. I will take your recommendation and make a post at the pcp location. Thank you again and have a great day.
