Excellent video Steve and outstanding production quality. I picked up a Regal XL (unregulated) a couple weeks ago with that exact same scope. As my first airgun since the 70's, I've nothing to compare it with except my CZ 453 varmint .22 LR and it compares very well.

Groups like 3, 4 and 6 are quite frequent. It depends on me more than the rifle. I can get 40 shots before POI starts dropping noticeably which is fine with me. With the Koi moderator from DonnyFL equipped, it's common for me to start shooting in the backyard around 0700hrs and my neighbors just keep snoozing away. I love everything about the Regal.
Thanks for all your videos.

I was the fortunate recipient of the first Huma regulated Regal XL in the country. Thank you Rich from AOA. The Regal XL is definitely a game-changer made all the better by the addition of the Huma regulator. The gun remains difficult to cock, the multi shot magazine's a bit fiddly, and you'll need either a large capacity 4500 HPA tank or compressor to fill it to 250 bar. The smaller Pony bottle type fill stations don't seem to be able to handle that much pressure. However these are minor things and certainly don't detract in any serious way from what is a gorgeous and Incredibly gratifying tool.

I own a Daystate Huntsman Regal XL .22 and the regulated version will give an outstanding long range accuracy.
Currently I am getting 850 fps with JSB 18.1 33 shots with an ES of 2% and 1.5% temperature sensitivity (200 - 140 bar).
All this will be resolved with the huma regulator. The only cons that I see in this rifle is the front cylinder gauge. I think they are dangerous because you are in the direction of the muzzle.
