I have eyed that huntsman for a couple years. It was a choice between that and the FX Royal. Now with the improvements Hmmmm. If it shoots as good as it looks its a winner. That is a good number of shots for that size reservoir.
The Regal is a great rifle. I have a Regal in .22 & it's one of two rifles that I use for squirrel hunting. It's deadly. I shoot the JSB 15.89's in mine. It loves them. It will also shoot the JSB 18 gr.pretty well. Just not quite as good as the 15.89's. It also shoots the H&N 21 gr. pellets really good. Only problem that I had with the H&N's was a magazine jam. So I only single load the 21 gr. pellets. I also have a Daystate LE Griffin in .177. It's just a fancied up regal with a different barrel & trigger. It's a shooter as well.
I Love the Classic look of the DayState huntsman Regal XL!! Putting Huma regulator in it makes me Lust After it even more!! with that walnut stock, large polished bolt and a lothar Walther Barrel makes it one nice gun!!!! Rider Lothar Walther
Always wanted to own one of these so I guess this is my lucky day. Great looking airgun. I’ve found the Daystates to be the quietest airgun in my collection.
Great video as always Steve. .hey spread some of that Ortho Home Defense Max around your range and them little bitters will not bite anymore.Florida bugs bite..
Looks like a super quality rifle, Daystate is definitely on their “A” game with this platform. Great review, thanks for the in-depth look at yet another great airgun.
