It's the one fx airgun that interest me. Would love to have a hands on comparison to my edgun.

I guess it depends on what you plan to do with it... the inserts seemed really robust to me. Steve"jlimjoco"I noticed that the new smooth-twist X barrels are cheaper than the original smooth twist barrels but just as accurate based on your tests. Interestingly, they also seem to be more accurate with some cheaper pellets compared to the original. Maybe the twist rate and/or the rifling extends throughout the barrel length makes a difference? My question also is: are they as durable as the original smooth twist barrel?
"Michael"The cats out of the bag... a .25 caliber WILDCAT that is!
In cooperation with Airgun Depot, Sportsmatch Rings & JSB Predator International we are bringing you another Review-Discuss-Win! Steve's busy shooting away on a full review of the new FX Wildcat MKII with 2 different barrel liners (SmoothTwist & SmoothTwist X) and how to swap them, then we'll be hosting a contest for one of you lucky shooters to WIN it!

Preliminary results yielded impressive accuracy (but with which barrel liner?)...
