Watch & Discuss the Hatsan NeutronStar !!!

I really like the nuetron l have a hatsan model 95 and I'm having a hard time finding replacement parts as the ram went bad, but it was old and used a lot. That's my guestion can you order replacement parts for it? Before I would spend the money for any of them in this price range that would be a must. Nice shooting by the way, and if anyone knows where l can get a new vortex cylinder for the model 95 l would appreciate it. Great review!

Yeah, I've started to notice that on the threads that most Hatsans aren't effective past 50 yards. I'm not a hunter, just a plinker and target shooter, but when you see Weihrauch break barrels like the HW97 hitting tin cans at 100 yards, it's a no brainer to me, although I LOVE my Hatsans.

Edit : Steve is having no problem hitting the target at 100 yards, and accurately. I'm not sure where this idea came from regarding Hatsan's 100 yard insufficiency, but obviously in this case it seems untrue.

No problems shooting pellets out of my tuned 25 cal Nova Star. I don't why people are so hung up on regulators these days. If the shots are consistent (low extreme spread ) there's no need for a regulator. Look at Kral and some Daystate guns, they don't need regulators because the valves are efficient enough that the ES is the same or lower than regulated guns. The purpose of regulators is to make the shots more consistent.

I am not too experienced, but I think it's just like newbies with the "1300 FPS" on the box, for example. The bigger number, the better, but after you get to know more the realization that speed doesn't always mean better. Same with the whole FFP vs SFP, and so on. I find that my unregulated Hatsans are just fine, if not perfect for ME. My Hatsan AT-44 is one of, if not, my favorite air rifle of all. Then again, I've never taken my Chrony out of the box, because I don't want to get hung up on numbers. I'm more about feel and results. Maybe that's naive, but it works for me.

However, I did fall in love with my Hatsan Novastar .177 that I just got about two weeks ago. My only question (for now) is how do you tune it ? What does that mean ? I sure know how to tune my bass guitar, but the most I've ever done to a Hatsan is turn the hammer spring counter clockwise to increase power. The Novastar doesn't have anything easy like that without having to disassemble it ? I've heard that it shoots slugs well, and I want to be able to try that. I reached out to Steve Scialli on Youtube and told him mine shoots Crosman 10.5 pellets like a laser, but nothing else. His wise advice was to just have fun and shoot what works for the rifle. I don't disagree at all and he knows his stuff, but it would be nice to see some .177 slugs stack on top of each other. Thanks, Mike

I JUST got a Chronograph and I own the Nova Star .177 . I was using JSB Exact Beast Diabolo 16.20 grain pellets, or slugs. Not sure what they're technically called, but I have been getting 916 fps consistently on almost EVERY shot.

Like Steve said, this rifle thinks it's regulated.

It's more predictable than even my regulated air rifles !!

Just an AMAZING airgun. I love it, and was SO lucky to see it by accident on Amazon's one day sale. I got it new for half off. Amazing.

I highly recommend this air rifle to those that like a high shot count, good looks, and don't care about weight. It is heavy, but I only do bench shooting. Also, it's loud, so I have a Wolf Airguns silencer from Poland on it. I've ordered 3 from them. They have THE best selection and prices, just FYI on an unrelated side note.
