I shoot >20K rounds per year in local pistol comps and cast my own boolits so I get what you are saying. I moved away from wax lube years ago and now only use powder coat. Its a LOT cleaner and nearly smoke free.

Yes, I remember, my smokeless powder reloads were not so smokeless.

I moved to PC as a lot of CAS people did as it also decreases exposure to lead from handling and loading.
