Never tried Ren Wax. But I have tried both Meguire's Gold Class Carnuba Plus in air rifle bores and Finish Line Dry Lube (teflon) on pellets and the bore. My personal experience give me a cleaner bore with the Finish Line+ one for Renaissance Wax!! Finish line Bicycle chain dry wax for pellets and bore.
Yes, I use pure Carnauba wax. Trewax for wooden flooring. Some of the car waxes have other stuff in them, like cleaners or super fine grit, so I don't use them.Anyone try carnauba wax ?
The product is described as a ceramic *polish*. Sounds a little like putting sand down your barrel.Anyone try this..
There is a beeswax aerosol furniture product you might try out.Has anyone tried beeswax?
I was thinking to melt some onto a patch and trying it.
Has anyone already tried this?

Do you use just carnauba & turpentine and nothing else, and in what proportions by weight? Is it turpentine thinner or white spirit or pure turpentine? It works but the effect is short lived compared to carnuba wax.

The way I read this is "white spirit, carnauba, paraffin and some other waxes". So that could be a relatively low carnauba proportion. Do we need all those other waxes, if aiming for high/highest carnauba content, other than maybe for ease of application? I have looked and it's relatively cheap to just mix pure carnauba with turpentine/white spirit.Trewax paste wax ingredient label they use petroleum solvents instead of turpentine
everything is premixed and ready to apply ,,, easy peasy
