Hi all. I buy those large "Zeroing-in" splatter targets from Amazon and just yesterday discovered something I can do to shoot them a few more times than I had been.
KInda' simple, really. After I've shot the splatter target and think it's done for, I grabbed a can of black spray paint and painted a dab of black paint here and there, over the "old" splatter bullet holes.. I've also tried just painting the whole target and that works, too.
Then, after I've painted the face of the target black, I just shoot a splatter hole into an area of the target and that new bullet hole becomes my bull's eye. I was surprised at how well the target "splattered" again. Now, I'm getting more mileage out of those targets.
Just thought I'd share, I searched and didn't see where anyone else was doing the painting thing.
All the best,
Bobby
