We Need an AGN Hall of Fame

I was thinking that an AGN Hall of Fame would be entertaining for members who have come and gone and whose presence left an indelible mark on this community. Some folks have come and gone, but presented some of the most zany and outrageous content on these forums. A lot of the time their names have been erased or deleted and their posts now read “Guest” or “Deleted…” One of the most memorable guys I’ve seen the past couple of years was CheckUrSix. I may have him mixed up with another member, but he’s posted some funny stuff too. The guy I have in mind came into the forums calling out a known competition benchrest shooter and some of the banter that ensued was absolutely hilarious!! Especially when the guy posted videos of his skills shooting into the mud instead of targets.

On occasion I see something that reminds me of members like this. Sometimes the forums can be entertaining. I don’t mean this to be malicious, just a little ribbing. Who do you remember similarly?

I would add "Yo"/ "Odoyle to that list. He was so prolific that for months on end there was rarely a post he didn't comment on. He was also very controversial with a seemingly equal number of fans and detractors.

I would also ad "Spray1Mark" Sadly he has passed away but he was a wealth of knowledge on Daystates and an accomplished marksman from my understanding.

Help us out, who are we missing? Famous or infamous?

That was 1shot1kill. He was good for a laugh. Bashing fx, then using fx barrels in all his builds, and filling them WAY past their safe fill pressures. Calling out all the rivers channels and making statements about taking them all to the cleaners in rmac (of which he never showed).

@madeintheuk Yes!!! That’s the one. That dude had me almost in tears laughing.😂😂 It was that video that did it for me.

@Lewis Yes, @Odoyle/@Yo was entertaining and informative. @Spray1Mark’s posts were very informative. I’d add Stoti to the Hall of Fame too. He was very informative. So are @nervoustrig, @Motorhead, and @Bigragu

@nervoustrig Sub-categories may work too. Some guys have been super helpful, others just flat out entertaining, some are a combination of both. For a class clown post I’d have to add @2muchair4leyla ’s recent “Don’t Be That Guy” “I Hate to be the Guy” post and video. That still makes me laugh. He can be informative and entertaining.

Who was the one who had the ninja videos up on you tube where he was scratching at his girlfriend while making noises Black ??????? over three or four years ago. He bought a pcp and talked about shooting for months and months but never did .

Probably best if all were forgotten to be honest . haha
Reminded me of the guy who was a 'ninja' who would pop on talking about his Benjamin Bulldog for posts on end....had several YouTube vids. 'interesting' fellow to say the least. May be talking about the same guy here.

Probably the one fellow from days gone by I remember the most never posted here that I'm aware of, but some of the grey beards who were on the Yellow would remember... BMUS Beam Me Up Scotty. Reading his replies to anyone who posted about a Gamo would always crack me up.

Now, as for a current day wealth of knowledge... Nod has to go to AirNGasman. Mr. Robinson may come across brash... rude... crude... whatever. But he tells it as he sees it and is a wealth of knowledge who has probably forgotten more about airguns than mere plebs like me may ever know, and I consider myself fairly knowledgeable. Great guy to talk with as well and he's a master craftsman.

I was referring to two different folks in that post... one was the same fellow... blackswordshinobi.. The other did not post here that I'm aware of and is a ghost from the past on the old Yellow... BMUS. I'm afraid not many here will recall BMUS. It's been some time ago.
