N/A Webley Hurricane

The Hurricanes don't seem to come up for sale very often, It's been at least two years of looking to find a decent one.

Has anyone had difficult finding a Hurricance? w

The Hurricane is basically why the Tempest exists, LOL!

The Hurricane was introduced in 1977 and sales were so disappointing that they cut the frame and muzzle housing down to create the Tempest, which came to market in 1979! The Tempest was much more successful, no doubt helped by its stronger resemblance to the more compact, classic all-steel Webley pistols of yore.

A junior version of the Hurricane called the Typhoon, with a similar long frame but weaker spring and smaller grips, also came out in '77. It was dropped entirely fairly quickly.

Both guns stayed in the Webley catalog for many years, so keep at it - the Hurricane is a nice pistol, and fine examples are out there. But it's always been less common than the Tempest and will be harder to find.

(My favorite Webley trivia: these pistols are named after aircraft. During WW2, Webley suspended airgun production and made parts for the Hawker-designed fighters - the Hurricane, Typhoon, and Tempest.)
