What's the current value of a Webley Patriot in 95%+ condition? UK made. Are they hard to find parts for? Easy to rebuild?
Thanks for the reply Bear. The 25 is worth what the other calibers are worth. Probably a smaller crowd with interest but still worth the same. IMHO. The $600 one is worth it. Maybe more on eBay but minus the fees your back at $500-$600.
I get it. In the past when I seen them at gun shows they were trading for around 350 to 450 for a pristine model. Now at auctions they are commanding more $$ and when tax, shipping and possible creditcard fees they are just not a good value for a guy that just wants to shoot IMO. Wish I would have picked one up then.Well I didn't get the Patriot in the end. The shop that had it on Consignment put up for auction and I was outbid. With shipping and tax it went for $800 and I let it go. I guess I didn't want it enough.
My understanding of the Turkish Patriots is that Hatsan first produced them using Webley's leftover parts and then later with their own. I owned a Beeman Kodiak back in the day and it was a beautiful rifle with some of the best bluing I have ever seen, but the trigger was long and heavy, accuracy was mediocre at best and it never produced the 30 fpe that they claimed. 25 fpe was closer to reality.I have a Webley Patriot but I have been told it is a Turkish made one and it is no good.
It does not have Quattro on it and does not say it is made in Turkey.
Can anyone tell me more about it and if it is made in Turkey, what do people think about them?
HW90 .25 is way better deal unless you’re interested in having an original restored. Webley was a spring. The gas ram .25 HW is better suited. What's the current value of a Webley Patriot in 95%+ condition? UK made. Are they hard to find parts for? Easy to rebuild?
