Other Webley Tempest

I don’t know why, but I scored another Webley/Scott. A buddy out West tipped me off on another one.

These guns are infectious.
I’m amazed the condition of this honey. Couldn’t of had a lot of use. Until now.

The gentleman I bought it from I’ve talked on the horn a few times. He’s into competition pistol shooting. Already got a few tips. 👍
Love the lever to release the barrel.

Thanks. That’s got to be the most common phrase on this forum. “I wish I didn’t sell mine”.Crow
Congratulations! That's a beauty in pristine condition! Hope it shoots as well as it looks!

Thanks. It does,’m amazed. Crow
I have got two myself, and I just picked up a Hurricane. It’s addicting, the Hurricane needs a reseal, and a good cleaning.
Question, is that a rubber sleeve over the trigger?
Nice guns.
Yes it is. I’ll ask the guy I got it from, the secret behind the rubber sleeve. I’ll let you know. Crow

I've got one just like that - first spring piston for me. I enjoy plinking with it. I suppose I should try to see if I can give it a little tuneup one of these days. I've never worked on the internals of a spring piston

Thanks. Ya, I’m hooked on the workmanship on these pistols. Too bad, they should still be making them.
There is another really nice one on the Gunpost, just listed today. I think it is Gorby (New Brunswick) selling it, with a holster and Andy Davies walnut grips. Fellow Cdn. Mind you, with the current postal strike it'll be a while in transit.
I saw that one. The holster and grips are cool. The gun looks beat. It weathered a hunting lodge. Crow

They seem to have an appeal. The snub nose, compactness and well made aspects.
I've been asked to tune this gun more than any other down the years
