Actually, I wanted to fly the pellets as fast and as accurately as possible under the 20 ft lbs limit for FT, for flatter trajectory. I’m getting 1/4 inch 5 shot groups at 30 yards all day. I’m lubing the pellets with Napier VP90 spray.

That absolutely makes sense - and you really can’t beat consistent 1/4” groups at 30 yards - at least I can’t shoot any better than that.
