Hey Johnny, I have the long version, it's an awesome gun, accurate like a laser and super quiet like a puff, it loves JSB 18's, and the 14 round magazine is the best in the business.

Very neat gun. Had a .177 in my cart a few times. Just always reluctant on plastic guns over $1k. Finally ordered something else but I’m sure I would have liked the HW. Maybe some day I will come up with an excuse to buy one.

This was a spontaneous moment purchase and I am pretty sure they are sending me a German gun ready to shoot.
What MIGHT a guy do to this gun?

The only thing I planned to do if I bought one was have the stock dipped but not the cheek piece. Then build an active shroud for the barrel and see how short I could make it and still have it quiet enough for my needs. The pickle they have on that thing looks long enough to quiet down a .30.

of course clean the barrel first, test shoot it, if it is shooting too hot or too slow let me know, I can tell you how to adjust the tune to your liking, mines set for about 780 fps with JSB 18's

Synthetic stock is black and I want it that way.
Pickle on it looks natural and cool to me.
As far as FPS I will just shoot it and find the pellet it likes then roll with that. I asked AOA to put in a couple tins of what THEY thought it likes best, we'll see.
I could see a shroud project as beeing fun. Apparently the factory ldc is quite effective.

If weight is an issue , I’d suggest the aluminum tubes available on eBay. They ship from the UK but are drastically lighter than the factory units. They also sell complete but I find the ends to be of lesser quality. Should mention they do have a few lengths available also , you’ll just have to take a few measurements . I went with the FAC 390 mm lots of shots in either .177 or .22

Thank You that's a VERY interesting idea. A spare tank from AOA is $195.
There's not much room to add length to the tank as far as I can see. Right or wrong?

Hey Johnny, the stock is actually wood coated with a rubber type coating, that's why it is so stiff. and having a spare tank is a good Idea, you can't put a larger tank because of the pickle, mine has the bigger tank since it has the longer barrel.
one other thing, get rid of the Flexible plastic picatinny rail and use the Aluminum Dovetail rail it is attached to, I think it has 2 or 3 screws holding it down, It flexes to much and it causes loss of zero.

I bought one a few months ago and added the longer air tube from Ratworks and a longer barrel from T.W. Chambers and added a Huma moderator. Overall length and weight are very similar as the stock airgun with the aluminum air tube and shorter moderator. Not hardly as quite but not bad. Mine is a .177. My shot count doubled even after turning up the hammer spring. Mine shoots JSB 10.3's @ 890-900 fps and gets 70 shots on a fill. Replacing the barrel is super easy, getting the ends off the stock tube was a real *****.

That's interesting and cool about using the dovetail because I am short on picatinny mounts. Flexing plastic picatinny sounds like something to fix immediately.
Guy at AOA suggested I buy a 18cu ft tank instead of the spare tank that fits on the gun but I already have an 80cu ft scuba tank. and the HW100 only needs 2900psi, easy solutions.
I have a Hill compressor as well. The factory spare tank is looking good.

I was on the fence with too, plus its a WEIHRAUCH. But for the same price I got a Uragan, not sure if its any better, but the shot count is enough for me all day hunting, or plinking. So many awesome pcp’s out there, hard decisions.

The Picatinny rail on my HW100 Bullpup has given me nothing but accurate shooting..! No need for changing it. Though the grip could use some work for people with adult sized hands.
I recall people whining about some of the "diving board" style rails too. Now...many are of that type, and no one whines anymore.
The Uragan is much lighter than the Weihrauch Bullpup. I have a Uragan Compact, Great shooter, light weight.
