"rosworthm"Hi Everyone,
I have a new interest in purchasing a .22 caliber PCP air rifle. My criteria for the options on the rifle is as follows is order of priority:
Accuracy,
Regulator,
Moderator,
High Power,
Good and easy to load multi-shot magazine,
Durability,
Quick and easy access to parts, and
Cost between $1,000 to $1,400.00
I have narrowed it down to the FX Streamline .22 and the Weihrauch HW100 Carbine with Moderator .22 Caliber. I love the simplicity of the magazine on the Weihrauch HW100. It is durable and extremely easy to load. It's made of a single piece of metal......no moving parts at all, plus it carries 14 pellets.
On the other hand, I was told by a Sales rep at Airgunsofarizona that the FX Streamline is a superior rifle all around, especially when it comes to accuracy. However, I am not keen on the magazine at all. How do I balance everything to get the best possible rifle????
All comments/advice is welcomed.
The Cricket Carbine meets all this options., its equal or more accurate than HW100, great regulator and autonomy, very high power, the magazine is like the HW100 14 shots in .22 but not so easy too load, much less weight. 8.5 vs 6.8 lb.
