Weihrauch HW35E - got its Groove off!

I stated a concave dip in the fore-arm checkering. Correction. There is no absolutely no concave at all to the fore-arm checkering. Flat as a pancake.

The great aspects of the 35 are its barrel lock up, the minimal slot for the cocking lever, making the stock much stronger, nicer to hold and much better looking from below than any other HW …and finally the old grooves which allowed perfect finger positioning shot after shot, making the all important repeatable hold easier…
The new Condom grip (as its called in the UK) is def a step in the wrong direction as is the laser cut name and gory white markings instead of good old stamping…..however, this trend is common to all HWs now.

I just ordered a 35e from Krale. I would prefer the grooved forearm, but "if" the shape of the checkered part had been a bit more traditional I would like it, something more in line with what you see on some of the better grade firearms instead of that bullet shaped area.

Please post details on how the .22 shoots & accuracy. A very nice looking 35. I have one of the euro styles from the late 70’s.
