Nice shooting - love the HW44. What ammo and weight do you use? I find the JSB 8.4 gr to be a great pellet for it.

Good question. It's sighted in at 10 yards, so I just guesstimate the hold-over. I've been shooting long enough to know about what a mil looks like at certain distances, especially when I know the size of the object that I am shooting at.

They are definitely amazing pistols! I have my best rifle scope on mine right now. And off of bags it’s extremely accurate. I probably post pictures of this group too much but it’s the best I have done with a pistol. The HW44 in .177 can hang in there with my custom Steyr LPS that AZ built for me. The gopher target is at 60 yards.

Holy smokes that is a long barrel on that Steyer. It reminds me of the Batman when the Jack Nicholson Joker pulled out the revolver to shoot the batwing.

It is long and really quiet. It has a AZ shroud that’s much longer than the barrel. Really a fun gun on calm days. What amazes me is that the HW44 seems just as accurate and it’s easier to shoot. I have the .22 as well and I use a see all sight on it, very cool sight.

How does the ap16 shoot? Which would shoot better groups at 60 yards and how big of a group?

My HW44 shoots JSB 8.4's best but also shoots really well with AA 7.33's.
