Weihrauch HW80 Advice

Hey guys,

I'm looking to purchase a HW80, I need advice on what caliber to choose and also scope and silencer recommendations to go with it. I want to use the rifle for target shooting in my garden. I'm also in the UK.

Also, should I go with HW80K instead, the only reason I'm weary of it is because I like rifles with long barrels as to me they are more aesthetic. Could I just get the standard version and add a silencer on?

I can only tell you for my.22cal. R1, which is basically the same gun as the Hw80, the FAC kit that Steve Pope's makes this 5.5 mm gun super smooth. As we are not limited by a 12 ftlb limit, this V-Mach kit was the ticket for my useage producing roughly 22 accurate ftlbs.
Steve also makes the" RaceBreak" , best springer moderator I've heard of or seen.
