Weihrauch HW97 & Custom Stock LTD CS500

HW97 and a CS500 stock from “Custom Stock LTD”. Always wanted a left hand Walnut stock for the 97. Very pleasant folks to deal with.

Boscoebrea. That’s what I am doing. Cleaning house on everything I don’t use. All my PCP’s are going. Don’t ever shoot them. Now the o-rings are getting tired. One of them just failed. Going to deck out all my favorites. My fingers do not like .177 or tricky loading ports like the TX200. 97 is tough enough. Prefer barrel cockers. Just love the 97 though. Happy trails with CSLTD.

I agree,my fat fingers and small pellets are not a good match,PCP ,will they ever be classic?

I admit I love myPCP pistols,,,like the Crosman 1720T, 1701 and the Prod.

All the custom stocks take time and $$$$,but when you love something you want it to be special.

That English stock maker has reasonable prices, the shipping adds maybe too much...

I am waiting to see what SC can do for me...have to wait it out as all stock makers are really busy...

I am not far from some great walnut blanks...up in Northern CA.

Agreed, break barrels are easy to load and the HW97 is not bad..my Lefty TX200 is a "pain " to load, then again I shoot left handed ,but I am right handed,.my brain is somewhere in the middle .

I ordered the Custom Stock LTD for my HW97 on January 1 and the HW98 on January 7. I received the 97 stock yesterday and expect the 98 stock in about a week. Checking on my order today I see that CSLTD has had a 17.5% increase on their stocks since my orders. That is a $70 increase literally overnight. I would not be surprised to see Weihrauch do the same.

Unfortunately everything is going sky high, everything except wages that is. With shipping costs, material costs, and labor costs going up every week we better get used to it!! Of course it might just be our imagination as our govt does seem to think this is an issue.. Based on my costs this year, when compared to last years costs I am seeing a 20% average increase in expenses. I am retired so I keep close track of expenses every year.

That’s a gorgeous stock Mr Max. Not familiar with Steve Corcoran.

Thanks, Steve did an awesome job. Word is he working on a lefty HW30 stock, oh man!

Look at his FWB Sport stock. Wow! Nice. And he replaces the garish trigger guard. What it should have been all along.

I'm pretty sure Custom Stock Ltd made stocks for Theoben.
