I paid $540 a couple years ago for my HW97k Blackline. Best darn pellet slinger ever. Had to invest another $100 in an aftermarket spring to get it reliable. Another $300 for a scope and mounts. For less than a grand it is an amazing pellet rifle. No problem MOA accuracy out to 75 yards in calm weather. Past that the accuracy starts to diminish but it will still hit 50% on shotgun shells at 100 yards.
If you can get one for less than $500 you are getting the deal of the century. I don't think you could buy a better pellet rifle at any price.
