HW/Weihrauch Weihrauch open sights, what is this?

I bought this set on eBay with 2 unknown parts. This set was for Beeman RX1(HW90) according original sticker. What are this parts for?

Those are front sight hoods for the earlier type Weihrauch blade sight, very hard to find, good for you!

Shims...even has the period correct plastic box with green foam.

The hoods I have seen have a bit of a cutout in the center that locks them to the blade... well at least the HW made rifles.

Yep, Beeman "Buzz Lightyear" muzzle brake shims.

I had one of those from back in the 90's I mounted it on my Sheridan for a front sight hood.

Could mod them a bit if you ever needed to replace a lost hood... Save them.

I mounted one of those on my Bluestreak back in the day. I cut the grooves with a Dremel cut off wheel. Made a real mess of it, and eventually lost that hood.
I wound up replacing my front sight, which is why my 70's Bluestreak has a 50's Bluestreak front sight on it.
