Weihrauch Scope Blocks?

L

Leupold rimires 4x32. Lynx Leupold 11mm rimfire rings. I want the glass down low. Hw90 at near full power. 24ish bar. As hot as I can get it and still group decently ;)

I dont know. This is a 40mm on medium one piece and i got clearance on the lens easy , but what hurts this to go low one piece mount is that nipple plug thing hits ( pointed out).

If i had low 2 piece rings i just cant see a clearance issue. Especially if it was a 32mm scope .

Dont know what a hw 98 differs from another hw break barrel in mounting clearances.

Anyway i dont use 2 peice rings so ???

Next set i will be with a setback/ offset rings . I got one gun i can't go back with the scope enugh for comfortable eye relief .

Why i said give a picture of what you got going on.

Here's the type of rings I want to use. They're really low. The Lynx rings I have have a stop pin with them, but it's very small in diameter. I guess I "could" bore it out and turn a larger stop pin, but I hate to do the work. The HW arrestors could turn out to be too tall to clear.
The pictured rings are Leupold, but I have a few sets of Lynx/Hilver and Zastava rings that are all very similar.

The T04C will hold just fine. I've been down this road before. Honestly for a 4X 32mm scope the single bolt TO2C would work fine on a HW90. They come as standard rings on the HW80 hunter series from Weihrauch. You're way over thinking this. You can pm me for my phone if you want more information.
I probably am overthinking it. I may just order some low Sportsmatch rings on ebay and consider it a day. Save my rimfire rings for the rimfires

Why do you need a scope stop in the first place? Good rings like Sportsmatch properly mounted will hold on most well made piston guns. Well other than the recently made FWB Sport.
I couldn't get BKL double strapped rings to hold on my FWB Sport. My scope is currently sitting in a set of meh UTG rings and hasn't budged a millimeter, even after several remounts after faffing with the gun.

Yeah it seem the FWB Sport is a tough gun to scope. I never liked the BKL design. I used to use the cheap UTG and Hawke mounts. They work fine for the most part but they would sit off center due to the universal design. It bugged me that the recoil pins were small and off centered as well. Don't ask me how but I did have the threaded stop pin vibrate up and bugger the edge of the hole.

The Sportsmatch rings are centered on 11mm Weihrauch dovetails and use a larger spring steel roll pin. They are just made better from better materials. Their dovetail clamps go down to 55 inlbs. The other rings will strip long before that.

Have you checked your cheek weld with the lows you have? Some of the newer Weihrauch combs are pretty high.

I too prefer to mount my scopes as low as possible but I still have to be comfortable while looking through them.

I think washboard scope stop notches dont help matters

FWIW, SportsMatch T04C medium 2 piece rings mounting a Hawke 3-9 x 40 mm AO on a HW95L .22.

Ya, i eas just going to post like you just did .

I just dont get with a 32mm scope why low rings dont work unless like that scope of mine got that plug hanging out that could interfere or bump the receiver. . Then i cant think of what that activator pin is he brought up in the way?

I even went and looked at hw 90's in pictures online to get some clue on what im missing here .. mounting a scope on a hw is about as stright forward as one can get imho.

long ahead of you there friend. im new to airguns but coming off of a lifetime of serious shooting🙂

Don't know if they even still make and sell them, but once upon a time, Sun Optics made a recoil stop block. I have a couple of them and the stop pin is a perfect fit for the holes in the top of an HW rifle.
You'd have to search to see what, if anything, you could find on them if you're at all interested.
