Yep that's right. My HW80k I bought new in 1987 has Hull Cartridge stamped on the barrel. They are still the sole legit importer to the UK as far as I'm aware.

That's too bad about the laser engraving. Looks like what's on all the Chinese guns.
Guess its the way of things now. Diana starting doing it a few years ago as well. Not only is it ugly, it also seems that rust collects more easily in and around those etchings.

What's interesting is that my built for the European market vintage HW80 which I recently received from Jasper Heiner in the Netherlands has no markings on the compression tube of any sort, not even the old stamped Beeman-era text.

Thanks! Yes it full power, in .177 cal. Shoots right around 900 fps.
According to Jasper it was registered as a firearm upon purchase and therefore never downgraded. The lack of an "F" marking indicates that it was not reduced in power.
