N/A Weirauch and Beeman

Yes some Beemans are identical to Weihrauch. I think these days its just the R9 (HW95) and the R7 (HW30S) though. The other Beemans are just Chinese rebrands. I could be missing a couple there so don't hold me to anything.

I'm not understanding your question about your 50S. Are you looking for advice on killing the buzz? You can either lube tune it cheap or you can install some TbT guides. A lot of people just install a tune kit like from Air Rifle Heaquarters or Vortek

Most 50s do that. Most people that tune them will cut a coil or two off the spring. Mine is tuned and has no twang

I guess I was just wondering why my 50S has a twang while the R9 doesn't.
Yes, I know some are made in China, I had the switchable barrel one, then I bought a German made Beeman and realized there was a huge difference. This last purchase I wished I'd got another one instead of the Hatsan.

It comes down to guide tolerances and lube. My 50S was slightlty buzzy too but I didn't mind it. My HW95 on the other hand was the buzziest gun that I'l had ever shot and couldn't stand it. Made some new guides on a lathe and dropped in a $20 ARH Hornet spring and now its perfect. Also, pellet weight and/or drag can play a roll. Too heavy of a pellet and the buzz is increased.

Could be who lubed up the gun that day .

One got good paste or over pasted / less twang the other just enough to say it's got some / and twang..

No big deal. Just get you own paste/ lube go in clean out the factory stuff inspect , deburr, go back together with a personal proper lube job...

Seems most biy new and take them down to "fix" factory mess so to say.

Most hw benefit from that little new gun tlc.

Maybe before hand look over a arh spring and a couple of seals .. ( or vortex seals) . My latest R9 the factory spring broke in like 6 months . Then I do pound the pellets with it ,so... ( it can be hard to put down if I got a full tin ..lol).

Anyway it's a spring gun so sometimes spring noise is just a springer thing ..

I got one that sounds like grandma's back porch screen door grampa never oils .. lol. But shoots great...

Are the Beeman and Weirauch the same interlay?

Also on a side note, I should have save the money and got one of these instead of the Hatsan, not too trilled with it so far.
Weihrauch made Beeman airguns of old and continue to make a few currently (R7/R9).

Yes I agree - I graduated from "Hatsan University" many years ago, learned a lot, but will not go back after using a Weihrauch,

The German beemans sold at PA have a life warranty and weihrauch doesnt
I've said this before, and I don't mean to sound snobbish - No matter if it's RAW's, BSA's , Weihrauch, AA or Hatsan - I'm the warranty;).
If you own a number of them, you better figure out how/why they shoot and how to fix/improve them.
It's the only practical way to go with so many videos and knowledgeable people to help these days(y).

Thing is if it's so bad out of the box new use the rma .. if it's satisfactory new out of the box pretty much about the only thing you'll "fix" is a spring and seal / tune as needed over its life ..lol

Yeah I think I void the warranty within 24hrs of every new guns delivery anyway

Yes, ......... but if you've been reading/listening to tuning videos ....... you can improve very GOOD out of the box performance by 15%/25%.
Read Bob Sterne, Motorhead, Neveroustrigger or CDT for starters and understand that an out-of-the-box tune is the "average tune" that can be afforded by the manufacturer at a certain price point. Improvements/modifications can be made to enhance the guns performance.

I think as long as it comon maintenance stuff / defect or not flatout user abuse . It's acceptable / don't void.. never used it from pa or aoa so really can't say outside reading things at the forums ..lol
Yeah I'm inclined to agree there. I can't imagine AoA would bust your balls too much if you were just fixing what are some pretty common issues on a brand new Weihrauch.

In all fairness, the Hatsan 95 is a good gun for the $$, but not a Weihrauch by any means.

I've got a nova star currently. Gun was an absolute mess when I bought it new, from hatsan. Still has issues. Some just make me so frustrated, I can't understand why any gun would be made to such poor standards. ESPECIALLY one with a 900 dollar or higher msrp???

You and I are the same :ROFLMAO:
