Last one I biught 3 months ago I paid $200 shipped labeled Beeman P1 (SAME GUN) in its original box with original purchase receipt inside and looks like it's never been fired 100% condition. Seller stated he can't remember he bought it new then stored it and 4got about it all these years. Must be up to 30+ years old. Probably worth more than an HW45.

I wouldn't pay more than $200 shipped for a used HW45 with original box and paperwork in 95+ condition.

Be careful, there's a guy trying to sell a Black Star on one of the, other: boards.

He wants almost full retail price for it. While Black Stars cannot be had new right now, I'm not paying full price for a used gun.

You want check new prices, just go looking for them on the web...simple. Then cut the retail price by half, mabe one third.

I got tired of waiting for a Black Star, and bought a new "Bronze Star" from Airguns of Arizona. A little trigger adjusting...nice gun.

Rod - If /when you get one, look in YouTube. There is a five series video, that the guy explains how to tune the trigger on the HW / Beeman P1 very simply. Yo can get it as light and quick or as heavy and long as you wish in just a few minutes. I put a note up in the "Pistol Tuning" section to the address.

Have fun

This is one approach, and might well lead to not getting what one wants. Special situations such as "cannot be had new" means "I'm not paying full price for a used gun" might well mean you will not get one. Only each individual can decide what it's worth to them. If you want a specific hard to find or discontinued model, paying full or near full price for a used gun doesn't seem like a bad proposition to me. All relative.
