Weird stuff inside of ocular lens- Bushy Elite 4200 4-16X40

Rainguard coating outside, but no “lube splatter” coating inside🤔. Truth is, I don’t know what it is or how it got there. Recently purchased scope, minty mint. Waiting to hear from Bushnell regarding this issue- hopefully it’s an easy fix, this scope will complete a cherished springer ensemble😉

Very strange....

They used to be able to repair, then started just replacing with current models. Nothing current is really the same as those Elites.

Bob, I agree the B&L's of old and 4200 1" AO Elites were GREAT scopes for the money. I remember your (to me) legendary USFT Simple Simon always had an Elite 4200 8-32X40 mounted. Let's see what happens.
