That's an interesting tag... Welcome to the forum.

I suspect many of us began our second childhoods with a Gamo. After eight years with a Varmint Hunter, I finally decided I wanted more in accuracy. In October of last year I ordered a Daystate Wolverine B Hilite from Airguns of Arizona. Now, within the confines of my backyard (15 yards) I am able to place .22 pellet on top of .22 pellet repeatedly. I gave the Gamo to a friend. Recently, I put down the money to get on a waiting list for the FX Impact in .25. When my budget recovers from the expense of that rifle, I intend to put another spring gun in my collection. Weihrauch makes an under-lever fixed barrel called the HW97 and the whole world acclaims its accuracy.

Two things I wanted to convey in response to your posts:
1. I firmly believe a well placed .22 pellet will dispatch any coon. I have a couple of the marauding little varmints on my agenda here in Colorado. You shouldn't need to put heavier lead through your air gun to take one out. If you are restricted to .177, put one into the cranial cavity. I'm sure it will work. Watch what those Brits do on YouTube with their 12 ft/lb restricted guns!
2. I will be 60 years old in April. I have had a love affair with pipe smoking since I was 18. I own a few custom freestyles and if you were to go through my collection, I guess Savinelli would fall out as my favorite. Anyway, I would very much like to see some of your "amateur" work.

Sounds like you have a good start mentally. As long as you have that attitude, I’m sure you’ll do well. If you need help, I’m sure theres a lot you can find out here and people willing to help. I’ll be one too!

Hi, The name is Rui de Castro, 65 years old , from portugal.
being toying with airguns for almost 60 years, my first gun was a diana model 1, open fixed sights, but it was the beginning of a passion that lasts until today. after a lot of springers I turned to pcp´s.
my favorite pcp is the weihrauch wh100, in particular when you equate price/value/quality. they´re reliable accurate, and once well maintained , quite trouble freas you ca see from the photos I´ve just sent. I like to tinker with their stocks, even though I´ve got very little knowledge in the gunsmith art, but as it´s only to pass the time, I´m quite happy with what I´ve accomplished.

Hi, I'm Rowe. I just got into air gunning recently. I did used to shoot when I was young. My dad let me shoot a pump action pistol and .22 bolt action. My neighbor used to let me shoot his .22 bottom load. Until a few years ago I did not shoot. Then I got a CO2 BB gun a Wal-Mart. Just recently I picked up a pump action BB/ pellet rifle and then I got a springer with a scope. I want to get into PCP shooting so this looks like a great place to hang out and also learn.

Until the year 2000 Me and my wife shoot with fire arms, but as you maybe know due some idiots and those terrorists here it aint easy anymore to own those kind of guns. So now only fun with Airguns. I own: Hatsan BT 65 Elite .22, Hatsan 125 Sniper .22, Hatsan 135 .25, SPA PR900 .177, Gamo CF30 .177 and finally a Hammerli 750 .177. Hi. My name is Trent from Sydney, Australia. I have been shooting on and off for 20 years with varies success and failures. Rimfire .222, shot guns, etc....
My latest venture is into Air Rifles as i can shoot them at home no problems. I have a .22 FX Royale 300 and I am on the waiting list for the IMPACT as soon as it comes into the country in a few months.
I'm learning lots and trying desperately not to over complicate everything (engineer by trade). There's a lot to learn, so please everyone....keep posting.

Hi my name is Collin andI live in southern california. I have a cheaper Gamo Nitro (I think) with a stock scope, a Crosman 2240 .22 pistol, and a Benjamin Trail NP .22 with a Center Point scope on it.

I'm 25 years old and have been shooting any kid of "gun" I could get my hands on sice I could remember. About ten years ago, the first time I tried a break barrel I fell in love. I would sit outside all day plinking amazed at how accurate these rifles were. Also, I got to shoot a weapon in my backyard! 

Now that I'm older, I love my Benjamin for Dove or even Sparrow. That rifle is always dead on, and for what I'm shooting, a .22 is plenty. I can't wait to get my first PCP with a bigger bore.

I guess I should say hi. Since I've lurked around the site for a few weeks. I've shot air guns since the 60s. I got to be a little better shot in 69 while spending a year in the jungle. At times I was holdover bob when I carried a M79 thumper :) Like most of us, the old edgun videos and on to the holdover videos made us want to watch a packer game and drink a few beers with Ted. Well that is until he starts with the English accent?

At this time I've not gone over to the dark side yet. I have an assortment of pumpers, co2, and springer's. But the pcp bug is nipping at my heels. I even started looking at how close the dive shops are lol I can see once I step off the ledge it will be an easy way to get rid of around $5k.

I'm located in east TN not too far from Knoxville. I have set up a shooting range and most of the time shoot 25 to 50 yards with my assortment of cz powder burners and air pistols and rifles. But can go out to 200 yards. My next project as the weather improves is build a crosstie back stop that will cover any caliber that I want to shoot.

Hi my names fred
I got into air guns after I moved to the city. And didn't know there was such a big community of people that use them. I have always been an avid bow hunter and now hooked on air guns own 3 break barrels 177 nitro np,22 titan,22 trail. Now laws have changed in michigan and I'm getting a pcp sweeeetttt hope to find good convo and learn alot from you guys pcpjunkie I thought was a funny name sense I can't shut up about being able to buy one now and have read and watched every vid of teds and every review trying to pick a good entry level pcp thinking armada like the look and the mrod is a good start I've herd was also looking into airforce condor or talon but reviews say there loud

Hello my name is Russ. Reside in Northern Calif. Been a reader for somewhile and now looking forward to being a regular. Started with as a kid with a Crosman 140 in 1960s and have since progressed to todays mix of pumpers, break barrels and pcps. Too many, but use them all. When not shooting I like to fiddle with, improve upon or just plain clean them. Tempted for more, but abstaining since a few have "overflowed" to my brother's use (he's a happy guy).
