Hi folks I'm Paul Capello AKA "The Airgun Reporter". I've been shooting airguns since I was a kid, my father having introduced me to his Benjamin EB22 by dropping a starling from a tree in a park in Brooklyn, NY. 11 years ago I reviewed an 850 Air Magnum I purchased from Pyramyd Air just for the heck of it, and uploaded the video to YouTube. The very next day Val Gammerman (a really awesome gentleman) from PA contacted me and we struck a deal for me to create airgun review videos as an independent producer. The rest is YouTube history!

In 2009 I presented a sizzler video (TV show concept) at the Airgun Breakfast banquet at Shot Show for American Airgunner, a magazine style TV show dedicated to the world of airguns. Within 3 days, my producers and I had the funding and a network deal to start production on our first season. I single handedly built the production studio, props and sets within an old farm house in the Catskill Mountains. I trained my nephew Christian Capello-Colon to be the cinematographer, hired a co-host Crystal Ackley and took on the roles of writer, host and broadcast video editor. Christian and Crystal fell in love during production and are now married, living in California and working in film and TV. What an adventure! 

I'm also a carpenter, sculptor, master model maker (hyper-realistic scale miniatures and prototyping) and custom computer builder. Some of you might remember those computers I built for clients such as Intel & Microsoft. in 2008 a custom computer I built from scratch called "Doom 3: Project Mars City" was presented with a Guinness World Record of Gaming. I'm the author of "The Guide to Extreme PC Mods" (Que Publishing) and will be working on a children's adventure book over the next two years. I'm a proud Master Freemason, (Scottish Rite bound) raised in Livonia, NY Lodge 778 F&AM.


I've been blessed to have found a great team here at Utah Airguns, and just now settling into a life here in this amazingly beautiful state. Expect GREAT things from our company in 2018! Shoot safe, have fun and God Bless!

Hello, my name is David and I've been shooting for about 6 years, I have the nick zeus in the forums in Spain where I live and I've been encouraged to register in this, along with the great ones of the air, (a little bit above is Paul Capello, which I saw lots of videos, thanks Paul).
I did not want to limit myself to reading in anonymity. Thanks for letting me participate.
Right now I enjoy a couple of Fx and some other, and these are some of the ones I have or have had.

Hello Airgunners,

I am new to air guns and am excited to have this info resource. I assume I will be quietly reading in the background for a while. I have had experience in my youth with a couple of crosman pumpers but I am expecting my first pcp in the mail as I write this. I will do my best to f8nd info and not post the same questions over that have been covered. I apologize in advance of any overlap, I know it’s gonna happen.

Hi everyone. 
My name is Mark and I'm from upstate SC. Years back ~1997 I purchased a house that had pecan trees in the back yard. There were squirrels every where. I also owned my grand parents house that has six 50 + year old pecan tress. I.e. A squirrel infestation.. I mentioned this issue to a co worker and he said get a airgun II said a "bb_ gun? He said have seen what's available now? We both vistied a gun store that had Gammo and other brands. I bought a break barrel in 177 and put a fairly nice scope on it. Then one day a guy at a different gun store handed me a FX Trantula and said "take it home and shoot it". Well, 9 airguns later.. I'm still addicted to pcp's. I only do pest control. I'd rather watch paint dry than shoot paper.. sorry. No offense.. I have harvested 100's and 100's of squirrels. Also, I have "killed" lots and lots of starlings.. 
My job changed in 2010 and I relocated and don't have the targets of opportunity and time as I used to. 
I stumbled upon this forum looking to repair my FX Superswift.
this is great forum with some really
knowledgeable folks with great information and videos.. I enjoy reading most all the posts.. and some of the videos are fantastic..
I am really excited about the evolution of barrels, pellets and valving systems that seem to be getting better and better with consumer input and demand..

I am Tim Withers. Retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant and airgun enthusiast. I moved to a rural neighborhhod and wanted to have trigger time in my backyard, hence airguns. I started with a QB78 and once it got cold realized CO2 had its limitations. I went on to springers and learned the "artillery hold". I now have PCPs as well. I went from 4100 guns to $1000 air rifles..go figure.

Hello AGN,

My name is Eric and I hail from Spotsyvania, VA. I've been a varminter all my life and I'm about to make the jump into PCP. I'm kicking around a FX Impact .25 or the Crown .25, I'm still researching although I would love to get me hands on a Daystate Saxon. lol I'll be poking around and asking question here and there. What a great resource of information here on this site.

Hello All,
My name is Howard and I wanted to say hi and a brief introduction. Retired USAF SF (24 years) and now working at Northrop Grumman. I am in Great Falls, Montana.
About six months ago I decided to get a couple small BB guns for plinking, then a little better quality .177 pellet and most recently an Evanix Rex in .357 (9mm).
Can't wait for this winner weather to go away so my wife and I can get out into the mountains for some fun with both the Air Rifles and the traditional firearms.
Great forum, lots of valuable information to be found...thanks for hosting it.

Hello To All, I'm Kevin, I'm a Air Gun Hunter and Pesting Specialist, I've been shooting Air Guns and all Guns for about 50 years now, my first Air Gun was a Daisy Red Ryder and From that point I was hooked, since then I have graduated from pumpers to PCP's, I still have my old Sheridan Blue Streak just recently Steroided by Tim, I'm an avid Rat Shooter, and Developed my own DYI Night vision for pesting Rats and other night time pests,

Hello AGN !!! I'm Darell from Ridgefield Wa. Been airgunning since the age of 10- off and on- two many years ago. I live to fish and hunt. From march to nov. you'll find me on the big Columbia River going after salmon & steelhead. oct-nov it's deer & elk. It seems to be in my blood. I retired 2007 from the Fed. Gov.as a certified welder and I'm enjoying it .A very good friend introduced me to the pcp world, and I just can't believe the technology that these air guns have come to be. Michael and the other people involved in making this great forum, thank you for having me. Steve with (AEAC) your doing a great job with the videos an hoping to see a lot more. I'm a newbie to these dang computers too, would rather have a wire feed in my hand. Darell

Greetings AGN, Al here. My first air gun was a break barrel .177 that I got around 8-10yo. My joy of shooting led to my trade as a weapons tech in the Canadian Army. I was qualified on all the firearms in the Canadian Army and was fortunate enough to qualify through the US Rangers course. I can't say enough good things about the American Army as they will bend over backwards to help you out. I have found this to be true of gun people in general as well.

I am having a great time with my pellet pistols and the huge variety of ammo. This forum feels like home and I hope that I can make a meaningful contribution.

Instead of introducing myself, I want to take the opportunity, upfront, to say thanks. Thanks, Ted. Thanks, for creating and posting your videos. Thanks (I think), for making me want to spend all of my hard earned money and for making me laugh my @$$ off while doing it. Thanks, for creating the forum for everyone to "talk shop". Most of all, thanks, for standing up in support of your airgun partners. 

Thanks, to Ted's HoldOver, Airgun Exploration and Advancement Channel (AEAC), AirArmsHuntingSA, Airgun Hunter Extreme Channel, AirgunWeb, and all of the others, for introducing me to the airgun community. You guys lit the fire and I have rediscovered the reasons why I put thousands upon thousands of "rounds" through my Daisy 880s when I was a kid.

The timing of this post is no coincidence. For a little over a month now, I have relentlessly watched the videos and read the posts. Taking in everyone's technical information, preferences, criticisms, and at times flat out scientific wizardry. I created a profile on AIRGUN NATION yesterday morning. I would have been content to continue to watch the videos and navigate the forums in anonymity. YouTube changed that when they began terminating airgun channels. Overnight, they were gone. Now, I want you to know that I'm here. I want you to know that you have my support.

Hi, I'm Dan. I live in Binghamton, NY. A friend of mine recommended I check out this forum. I've been into airguns for my whole life, shooting a Daisy 25 when I was a tyke, then a Crosman 760 as an elementary/middle-schooler, and buying myself a CB9 Blue Streak back when I was a teen. I got serious about 16 years and started buying and trading myself into and out of some cool adult hunting airguns. I love piston guns and have *mostly* got over magnumitus- nowadays enjoying the friendly mid-powered guns more than the heavy hitters. I also appreciate vintage pumpers. I enjoy tinkering, doing some kitchen table tuning and repairs. I have a bunch of springers and pumpers, a Crosman 160 CO2, a few pistols, and no PCPs. I'm a big HW fan, and my girlfriend/shooting partner loves British rifles. Our go-to plinkers are a pair of soft-tuned, late model, BSA Supersport SEs in .22.

Hi, my name is kneeknocking and as you could of guessed every time i get up and down you guessed my knees creek and knock, i am just under the 60 age and only been into air rifles for the past 6-7 years with our local club in the south of the UK. I have always been a big kid wanting a air rifle making out i was audie murphy or alan ladd along with all the other big famous actors of the 40s 50s 60s, but i had a strick father who only thought of himself and would not buy me one. I saved as a youth for BSA but by the time i had enough money i found a bike more use. So as time went by found a wife had two lassies and now two grand kids and was told about a airgun club in our town, so i went along 1 sunday morning and never looked back. Been with the bucks going on 7 years, its such a shame that gun clubs don,t shout loud enough to let people know that there is place,s you can go to use air rifles in a safe and pleasent place. And most of all that they are not a bad thing if they just visit a club and learn to understand them a little bit better. Thanks for listening.

hi folks! I'm don from near the lake shore of pa. skie was my nickname back when I was in the fire dept back in 80's and early 90's, as saying my last name took too long and wouldn't fit across my fire coat (plus cost to much back then lol). I had air guns when I was younger and just now am getting back into them. I have a first gen ignite black ops sniper springer in .177 and just got a gauntlet in .177. (thanks to Christmas day snow storm lol!) I'm a jack of all trades for a local landscaper,but mainly drive truck and do some mechanic work if needed. I just target shoot and plink until a crow passes my path lol. it's a great way to relax and to keep out of the wifes way when she streams her games lol. I hope to learn more about pcps and how to mod them and toss in my two cents in if I can.
