I just joined last week. I was able to buy back a Beeman R1 MKIII Laser in .20 recently from a friend I sold it to many years ago. I had originally purchased the rifle new in the mid 1990’s. I purchased a Beeman Blue Ribbon 66RL scope originally with the rifle and it is still installed on it. DualMagMike recently helped me identify it as a MKIII model as I could remember the exact model. I used to shoot some Field Target Competition when there was a local club and always enjoyed it. I used a TX200 back then. I am looking forward to getting back into airguns. I have two electronic targets I manufactured to shoot at, one coyote and one river rat.

I'm Nato. Just turned 60 a few months ago. Doesn't as old as it once did. Have lurked around here for a couple of weeks since I joined. Never introduced myself. I'm from Texas. An Army vet and most of my money used to go into motorcycles until my Yamaha R6 spit me over the windscreen in a high side at 90 mph three years ago. Have taken up airguns as a new hobby. Really enjoying it and it is something I can do with my grandkids. Own a Crosman Bushmaster and am looking to get the Hatsan Flashpup next.

Hi Gary here from small town 25 miles north of Pittsburgh Pa. Started with a Gamo .177 break barrel because I got tired of coming home from work and finding my garden raided by groundhogs and rabbits. It did the job but then I discovered pcp’s , and this great forum. Retired now with a dream-tac compact on back order and still being harassed by critters! Nice to hear your stories. Take care

Greetings to all from North Carolina. Long time shooter but new to airguns now that they aren't toys. With ammo getting expensive, airguns are the way to go to practice as well as a bit of tree rat control. I'm finding that I have to focus more on my technique to make those accurate shots. Using a Benjamin NP XL in .177. Now I have a hankering for a 25 cal.

My name is Mark I’m a retired Lineman in West Michigan and decided to join the forum instead of just lurking in the background. I’m an avid hunter (Archery and gun), fisherman, tinkerer, and used to play a lot of guitar. Have always had a pellet gun throughout my life but with the shortage of .22 cartridges I have decided to step up my game a little with a good springer or two. Just joined yesterday, Mark here also. Lol. 60 yrs old retired, been married 35 years, avid deer hunter and bass fisherman. Recently bought my 1st pcp and already have a good idea what impact this is gonna have on my wallet. Wife even shot last evening so as an excuse , told her I'll get her a gun to shoot.

If that works as planned then I'll invite my daughters over to shoot......2 more guns. Lol.

I ghosted this site for months a number of years ago ... great place to learn ... ended up with a Gauntlet .25 ... Haji's mods ... and ultimately

a RAW HM1000X which has languished in the safe ... very little options in the DFW area for a high powered air rifle.

Joined a "pistol club" in the area but they only allow low power .177's

Good with that but means I will be divesting a couple of great guns ... going back to powder ... and with luck a match air pistol in .177

Really appreciate all the great content ... and am jealous of all the posts of those of you who can shoot on your property. Here that would get

me up close and personal with the local SWAT ... and they are so rarely called it would not be a pleasant conversation.

Owned an air rifle since my High School days in the UK. About 20 years ago I got back into the hobby and picked up an old school Feinwerkbau 124 .177. After getting the bug again I sold that and got my first PCP, a Daystate Wolverine .22, primarily to control the rampant squirrel population around here. The power and accuracy of these modern rifles is astounding.

new from long beach here. decided i needed something that didn't cost a buck fiddy for each shot, before they made them illegal here (not your grand dad's pellet gun).

anyway, i went all in, buy once cry once, and got the rifle i wanted instead of a "starter" rifle. took more than 2 years to decide which one to get, lol.

I had a pump lever air rifle when I was young but lost track of it as I grew up and moved out of my parents house. Just recently purchased a Gamo Bone Collector in .22 and have had a blast target shooting in the back yard. I'm currently in the process of buying a TX200. I much prefer forums like this over the newer social media sites. I hope to learn and contribute when I can.

My airgun journey started with a Daisy model 1894 lever action in grade school. I picked up a break barrel .22 in high school for back yard shooting. I never got back into shooting after my six year tour in the army. Last Christmas after the presents were opened I sat down with my sister and watched "A Christmas Story." It made me remember opening my first BB gun all those years ago. So with money burning a hole in my pocket I purchased a Red Ryder BB gun. That was January. since the I've picked up a Crosman Legacy 1000, a Swiss Arms TG-1, and a Crosman C-11 CO2 pistol along with about 21,000 BBs and some 2000 assorted pellets. I just retired so I expect to get a lot more backyard range time. 



This is an amazing site. I'm still finding my way around and still catching up from several decades away from the sport. I hope I can make some useful contribution. Thank you gentlemen.
