Well, CraigsList nuked my ad in less then 48 hours

Facebook marked place didn't even let me post, I did post on Craigs List but it lasted less then 2 days.

I didn't realise you could not have airguns ads, I knew firearms cannot but airguns ?

Yep, Very difficult to find somewhere you can post an airgun for sale unless you want to ship. Shipping is a hassle so I'm just not selling any.

I ocassionly see airguns for sale on FB Marketplace. In fact I bought a 1972 Sheridan Silverstreak, on Facebook MP.

Don't be put off by what you see posted in the classifieds here. I've sold everything from $50 CO2 pistols up through expensive rifles and scopes. There are plenty of buyers here not looking for $2000 airguns.

Why even use the term “gun?” If you list it as a PCP by the make and model, wouldn’t that suffice? As long as there isn’t a rule against selling airguns on these sites I would think that it wouldn’t be problematic once the details were hashed out. A prospective buyer that knows what they want should know what it is. Maybe discuss calibers once they inquire.

Shipping is super easy. Just have proper cushioning and pack tight enough nothing moves. Ship using pirate ship and cost is much much lower.

Yeah I've had ads pulled from Craigslist. You need to be a bit sneaky. No mention of "gun" or "rifle". The last time I listed it was just details on the brand and model. So people would need to be searching for the specific brand or model in order to find the ad.

The one's who do will know what you mean and that's your target audience. I'd also not put any pictures, just a description/make and model and have them ask for pictures to be sent upon request. That should circumvent most of the Bots and Karens trooling CL!
