Events Western States & AAFTA Grand Prix March 7th - 9th Temecula CA

"Aimbot." LOL Someone check the programming on that Daystate!

Both of the ladies at the event shot lights out. Lauren the first day and Barbara the second. Barbara's score on the second day was absolutely exceptional on a full Troyer course in THAT wind!!!

We may need to purchase some "High Man" medals if the two of them keep this up!! :giggle:

She's got a few things going for her...

When she started airguns she had no preconceived notions of how to shoot, so started off doing everything correctly and ingrained that into her shooting routine.

Her gun/scope/ammo are pretty much as perfect as current technology allows.

He shooting position is perfect and her "wobble" at 100Y is less than 1/4 inch...

She fully understands wind drift and how to compensate for it.

I'll be surprised if she doesn't win every AAFTA GP event she enters this year...
Annnnd it doesn't hurt having World champion Lauren as a coach in a encouraging friendshipy way which shortens the curve a little. Plus all you TC shooters helping out. As well all that you mentioned she is mastering a winning combination of important attributes.

Barb deserves congratulations for her accomplishments and where she is at right now in FT. Great shooting!

Sometimes, pictures don't do justice to showing the ambient conditions; however, in this unique field target moment rarely captured on film, Randy's trademark windicator captures in perfect display, the day's challenges.
