I can't turn it down because I need the right data for my Strelok Pro to ensure hold overs are fairly accurate. I'm currently ordering a rubber mat to lay over the new 1/4" steel plate.
I need a target that is slender to maintain the 25 yards.
If the 1/4" steel plate doesn't hold up I'll go to a 1/2" steel plate. Or I might just bite the bullet and buy the AR500 steel plate.
Hopefully the rubber mat will absorb enough of the energy to allow the target to hold up.
I could weld together a steel bullet trap. But that would take up too much room.
So for now I'm in the R&D phase of making a durable pellet trap.
