N/A What are some good quiet rifles?

What rifles or brands are known to be more quiet (before suppression)? I recently learned that the Krait is quiet by nature, am looking for some competitors in that quality and price range.

I'm leaning towards .25 or .22 caliber, if that makes a difference.

Benjamin Prod, Akela and Kratos I know for sure as they have baffled shrouds that are effective. adding a Mod to them makes them whisper quiet

My FX Royale 500 (.25) is really quiet. The Royale 400 in .22 is surely even more quiet.

In stock form, Marauder is hard to beat. After market, Theoben Rapid with AZ shroud. For the amount of power that the Huben produces its baffle sys is very effective or add an LDC of your choice. Another that comes to mind is the FX Royale 400 with huggett LDC.

Yes! My .25 standard length Tactical V2 is the only air rifle I own that hasn't needed a moderator to use in the back yard in town. Squirrel decimating machine with Hades!

I have two Taipan Veteran compacts - one in .177 and the other in .22. You can get away without a moderator, but I have moderators on them for ultimate silence. All you hear is the action and the smack of the pellet.

I want a rifle that's quiet to begin with so when I put a suppressor on there it will be extremely quiet. I'd like to shoot in my suburban backyard.

Taipan Veteran and AGT Vixen are my two quietest out of the box. I owned a P-rod and it’s very quiet too.
