What are some of the nicer (PCP) airgun 30mm picatinny scope mounts?

Hello AGN,

I've noticed that most of us airgunners don't really go crazy when it comes to our scope mounts. It seems like many stick to mounts that are about $50-$60, including myself. Having purchased pretty much all of the rifles and scopes that I'm interested in this year, I'm looking to upgrade my mounts. I'm not talking about anything uber ridiculous in price but what are some of the nicer one or two piece 30mm picatinny scope mount options, say, up to $200?

Through the years, I've gone through the usual brands like BKL, SportsMatch, FX, etc. and ended up mostly using the Leupold QRW/QRW2 mounts on most of my scopes. Recently, I've seen and/or bought some of these already:

What's the next level up from these that I should take a look at?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks for the suggestions so far, everyone. Just to reiterate - I'm pretty familiar with the mid-range under $100 rings and have used many of them in the 12+ years I've been in the hobby. I'm looking for the next level up from the normal UTG, FX, etc. rings.

The feedback on the Burris XTR Signature rings confirm that those will be one of my next purchases.

Thanks and keep the suggestions coming!

I often use adjustable scope mounts.

The nicest, sturdiest under 100$ that I found are the Burris XTR Signature Rings (75$). They have them also without the adjustable feature, i.e. without the "Signature".

Six screws to hold down the top scope ring. Not hex keys, but star-shaped for better hold. 3 heights (1", 1.25", and 1.5"). 3 diameters (25, 30, and 34mm). Up to 63 moa adjustable elevation.

I’m a fan of both UTG mounts and Monstrum mounts. Monstrum as of late has come out with 1” fully adjustable mounts. Hopefully they’ll follow up with those in a 30mm. They are built really beefy in both build and looks, without going into a 6 screw per mount orientation. They actually make the FX no limits look like wimpy mounts, and all they have going over the Monstrums are the ability to adjust.

Edit- I want to add that all mounts I use get lapped and checked with a Sinclair scope mount alignment kit, so having the need for any special alignment inserts that cost extra aren’t needed in my case. The only ones I’ve used that I don’t even bother checking for true alignment are the DNZ one piece mounts, but there again, you pay extra for that convenience.

Yen, I hesitate to post this because they are pricey, but it's the mount I dream about. Besides, you deserve it

Now those, along with the mounts on TIMERABBIT’S gun, are supreme. Didn’t even know these top tier mounts existed.

and we cry about the price of no limit rings? Ha!

I use the same rings on my air rifles that I have used on my powder burners, because I know they won’t move and I know they will protect my scopes.

Badger, Vortex PMR (same as Seekins), Nightforce are all around $100 used and are very highly regarded for their quality. I like ARC and Spuhr as well, but don’t usually go that high.

Sure, people will say you don’t need all that overkill for an air rifle, but I like knowing they are not going to move, and when I torque them down, I’m not going to damage my scope or leave scope rings.

Lots of great suggestions in this thread already - which is awesome and greatly appreciated.

I've got a set of XTR Signatures on order and just received the Aero Precision Ultralight 30mm mounts in the mail today. I have to say, I really like the Aero Precisions, which are super, super light but seem very well made and strong. I put them on my Leshiy and they worked great - they only weighed 96.5g compared to the other two piece rings I previously had on that weighed 183g so it saved nearly half of the weight of the old rings!

The American Defense looks pretty cool but those Scalarworks are beyond description! I did a couple of quick eBay searches and the AD's can be had for about $100 and the Scalarworks for $300 with some patience . . . I know me, I'm going to end up with one (or both) of them to satisfy the curiosity!
