I really like my Yong Heng and expired Scott Air tank. A good way to fill my guns with air is important. I also really like my Ajoite bipod. I tried cheaper ones but stopped looking when I got my Ajoite. For working on my guns I really like the set of Allen wrenches that have 1/4 inch shanks so they fit my screw driver and drill and impact. Much nicer to use than Allen wrenches. I also have torx bits with 1/4 inch Allen shanks.

Pellet casting equipment.
I knew that if I was going to continue to enjoy this hobby/sport after retirement when my income essentially cut in half I would need to reduce the cost of consumables. With the rising costs of pellets, that is the single most drain. So, I invested in a LEE pot and a few NOW molds in .22 and .25. I also built a couple PIDs to control the pot and a toaster oven converted to a mold warmer. Fortunately I had fellow airgunners that sent me samples of their cast pellets to see what my guns would shoot accurately. With that info I purchased a few molds.
I can't possibly reclaim all the pellets I shoot so I needed a source for lead. A local tire repair shop provided me virtually all the take off wheel weights I wanted. I sorted and reduced that lead into several pounds of ingots.
I also bought an inexpensive stone tumbler and a digital scale.

I found your other thread and pictures on your casting project. I am interested in your results and will follow. I am 71 and also use a fan and cast at my garage door. Thank you.
Lots of folks just put the mold on top of the pot to preheat it.. I prefer the oven to warm them to 140c. I run my pot at 700f and dip pour. If I begin to get janky pellets I'll smoke the inside of the mold and pins with a BIC lighter or candle smoke. I usually cull 10 - 20%. This morning I was culling around 25% but I haven't cast in a few months. I should probably scub my mold. I use Dawn and a brass brush.
